We’ve helped customers with product recommendations and support both at and away from the track. We supported Keigwin events across California, Trackside Services events at Thunderhill and also provided Bridgestone and Michelin race tire service and general parts support at AFM race weekends.
Take advantage of our extensive knowledge and experience - whether you're local or across the US, we provide real-world feedback to help you make informed decisions about tire and compound selection.
Here are just a few of the customers who achieved outstanding results in the 2010 season:
Scott Wilson – 3rd in AFM Open Superbike AND Open GP Championships
Scott worked so hard this year, struggling with setup of his GSXR1000 and a change from 16.5” to 17” slicks. He pushed through adversity and mechanical struggles to finish in the Top 3 of a very competitive class. Scott added an Accossato brake master cylinder. Scott even towed Jeff around at Thunderhill trackday and helped him lower his laptimes! Great effort Scott – congratulations and thanks for the tow!
Steve Metz – 3rd in AFM Open Twins Championship
Steve was on a mission this year and using the radical Double Dog Moto monocoque carbon fiber tail and full exhaust took the fight to his rival Eric ‘Go Go’ Gulbransen and provided some very entertaining race reports (that include kitty litter) along the way. Congrats Steve!
Neil Atterbury – 1st in CA State Championship 750 Superbike, 4th in AFM 750 Production Championship
Neil came back from injury and STILL waxed the competition at every opportunity, competing on an almost-stock GSXR750 using VP Racing fuels. Neil has helped students, customers, competitors – he even helped fix our compressor! Thanks for all the help and support, and congratulations Neil!
Zoe Rem – 3rd in AFM Formula AFemme Championship
In AFM, Zoe used an aging CBR600RR with Bridgestone 120/180 DOTs (Type 3 front and rear) to battle riders on much newer and faster machines. She also rode in AMA Nationals including finishing 2nd in the TTXGP (electric motorcycle) class at Road America! Congratulations Zoe and thanks for the support!
Mitch Joseph – 2nd in Clubman Lightweight
I met Mitch at the first AFM round at Buttonwillow, where he won his first race on Bridgestone slicks and never looked back, finishing on the podium or winning most of the races he entered on his SV650 with the help of a very close-knit support team. Congrats on a great season, Mitch – can’t wait for 2011!
Steve ‘Papi’ Chappell – 2nd in 1650cc Production Motorcycle - Bonneville Nationals
While many of our customers compete in Roadracing, Steve is going after top speed records! Steve used Bridgestone race tires on his Kawasaki ZX14 to achieve #1 Record Holder at El Mirage in class with a 191.895MPH speed in the 1.3 mile course. #2 in class at Bonneville with a 199.480MPH speed and a 200.076MPH exit speed on the long 5 mile course. Man that’s fast! Congratulations Steve and thanks for the tire feedback and race reports!
